We’ve answered some of the most common questions below—from how our service works to delivery times, prescription rules, and privacy. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us directly.

General

  • Is Prescribed It a real pharmacy?

    Yes. We are a UK-based, GPhC-registered pharmacy operated by qualified healthcare professionals. All prescriptions are issued by licensed UK prescribers after a clinical assessment.

     

  • Do I need to visit a doctor?

    No, you don’t need to see a doctor in person. You’ll complete a secure online consultation reviewed by a prescriber. If approved, your treatment is safely dispensed and delivered to you.

  • Is my information kept private?

    Yes. All consultations and orders are strictly confidential and processed in line with UK GDPR regulations. Your data is never shared with third parties for marketing.

  • Who reviews my consultation?

    A licensed UK prescriber or pharmacist will review your consultation to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

  • Can I place an order for someone else?

    No. Due to legal and clinical requirements, the consultation and treatment must be completed by the person who will use the medication.

  • How do I create an account?

    You can create an account at checkout or by clicking “Login” at the top of the page. This allows you to manage orders and consultations securely.

  • What if I made a mistake in my consultation?

    Contact us as soon as possible via enquiries@prescribedit.com. We may be able to correct or cancel your order before dispatch.

Delivery

  • What delivery options do you offer?

    We offer Royal Mail Tracked 48®, Tracked 24®, and Special Delivery Guaranteed®. All orders are sent in discreet packaging.

  • When will I receive my order?

    Orders approved before 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday) are dispatched the same day. Delivery times depend on the shipping method you choose.

  • Is next day delivery available?

    Yes. Orders over £50 qualify for free Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed® — delivered the next working day by 1 PM.

  • Do you deliver on weekends?

    Royal Mail may deliver on Saturdays, but this is not guaranteed unless you choose Special Delivery Guaranteed® and select Saturday as an option (where available).

  • Can I track my order?

    Yes. You’ll receive tracking details by email and/or SMS once your order is dispatched.

Medicines

  • Are your medicines genuine?

    Yes. All medicines are sourced from MHRA-approved UK wholesalers and dispensed from our registered pharmacy in London.

  • Can I return medicine if I change my mind?

    No. Once a prescription item has been dispensed, it cannot be returned or reused—even if unopened.

  • What if my item is damaged or incorrect?

    If there’s an issue with your order, email us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll work quickly to resolve it or send a replacement.

  • How do I know if a treatment is right for me?

    Your consultation will be reviewed by a prescriber who assesses your suitability before approving any treatment.

Prescriptions

  • Do I need a prescription before ordering?

    No. Our prescriber issues a new prescription based on your online consultation. If approved, we dispense and ship it to you.

  • What happens if my consultation is not approved?

    If we’re unable to issue a prescription, we’ll let you know and no payment will be taken or processed.

     

  • Can I request a specific brand?

    Yes, you can include preferences in your consultation. If clinically appropriate, we’ll try to accommodate your request.

  • Can I speak to the prescriber or pharmacist?

    Yes. If your case requires it, a member of our clinical team will contact you directly. You can also reach out via email.

  • Will my GP be informed?

    No, unless you give us permission or in rare cases where there is a serious clinical concern.
